Production Capability
PFM SCREEN Belting's production workshop is located in Anping County, Hebei Province -- the world-famous "Hometown of Wire Mesh" and China's largest wire mesh R&D, production, and trading hub. Our plant covers over 12,000 m² and has manufactured metal conveyor belts for over 35 years.
Our factory includes specialized departments: raw material workshop, machining workshop, mesh belt forming workshop, mesh belt assembly workshop, welding workshop, and cleaning workshop. Annual production and sales exceed 120,000 meters of metal conveyor belts.
We are happy to assist you with configuring the best wire belting for your production process.
Metal mesh belts produced by PFM SCREEN Belting include the following types:
PFM SCREEN Belting offers a comprehensive range of material choices depending on the belt type and application. Our team provides expert advice on the best material for your specific process and application.

Metal Conveyor Belts Making Equipment
Our workshops are equipped with laser cutting machines, numerical-control bending machines, numerical-control turret punch presses, precision automatic presses, mesh belt forming machines and other advanced equipment. The high degree of automation has greatly improved production efficiency and reduced production costs.
Laser cutting machines -- suitable for cutting carbon steel and stainless steel plate, used to manufacture machine accessories, conveyor drive chains, Plate Link Conveyor Belts and more.
Numerical-control wire forming machines -- used to make high efficiency, durable Balanced Woven Conveyor Belts, Chain Link Conveyor Belts, Flat Flex Conveyor Belts, Eye Link Conveyor Belts and more.
Applications -- Industries and Processes
PFM SCREEN Belting manufactures metal conveyor belts used in Food Processing, Textiles, Electronics, Agriculture, Automotive, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, and more. Our belts serve diverse applications from freezing tunnels at -40°C to heat treatment furnaces at 1350°C.
Quality Test
Our quality assurance is divided into three stages:
1. Raw Material Inspection -- All incoming raw materials are inspected before entering production.
2. Inspection in Manufacturing -- We test all specification items: wire diameter, pitch, rod diameter, belt thickness, belt width, belt length, and more.
3. Quality Control before Shipping -- We conduct 100% inspection and qualified products are stamped with QA PASS. Special wooden crates ensure products are delivered without damage.
Packing
Lighter metal conveyor belts:
1. Custom-made plywood wooden boxes according to the belt's roll diameter.
2. Lay cushioning air cushion film in the wooden box and conduct moisture-proof treatment.
3. Place the conveyor belt into the wooden box for sealing.
Heavier metal conveyor belts:
1. Custom steel tray.
2. Divide the conveyor belt into sections.
3. Fix the segmented belt to the steel pallet.
4. Load into the container.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between balanced spiral and compound weave conveyor belts?
A:Balanced Spiral belts use alternating left and right-hand wound spirals connected by crimped cross rods -- the most versatile type for general applications from food processing to heat treatment. Compound Weave belts pack multiple spirals and cross rods per pitch for a much denser, flatter surface with minimal apertures -- ideal for small products like biscuits, nuts, or small mechanical components.
Q: How long do metal conveyor belts last?
A: With proper installation and maintenance, PFM Screen metal conveyor belts typically last 1 to 8 years. Lifespan depends on operating temperature, load weight, belt speed, material (SS316 lasts significantly longer in corrosive environments), and maintenance frequency. Read our troubleshooting guide »
Q: What temperature can metal wire mesh belts withstand?
A: Metal wire mesh belts can withstand -50°C to +1250°C depending on material. Carbon steel: up to 550°C. SS304: up to 750°C. 314 stainless: up to 1120°C. 310S: up to 1250°C. Inconel 600/601: up to 1150°C (with superior oxidation resistance). See our material comparison table above.
Q: Can you customize belt width, length, and edge type?
A:Yes, absolutely. All PFM Screen belts are fully customizable: belt width, total length, spiral wire pitch, cross rod pitch, wire diameters, material grade (50+ options), edge type (welded, laddered, hooked, chain-driven), and accessories. Send us your specifications for a custom quotation within 24 hours.
Q: What metal conveyor belt is best for food processing?
A:Balanced Spiral Woven belts in SS304 are the industry standard -- FDA, GMP, 1935/2004/EC compliant. For corrosive environments (meat, seafood), upgrade to SS316. For baking: Compound Weave or Biscuit Baking Bands. For frying: Flat Flex belts (up to 85% open area). For freezing: Spiral Freezer belts.
Q: How do I measure and order a replacement conveyor belt?
A: To order a replacement, provide: (1) belt width (mm), (2) total belt length (mm), (3) spiral wire pitch (mm), (4) cross rod pitch (mm), (5) spiral wire diameter (mm), (6) cross wire diameter (mm), (7) material grade, (8) edge type, (9) any accessories. Download our Standard Enquiry Form (PDF) »
