First Rolled Baking Bands Produced in China

In November 2019, PFM SCREEN successfully developed a large ultra-thin biscuit mesh forming machine and testing equipment, and produced the first rolled baking bands manufactured in China. The initial production batch was delivered to customers with performance matching international benchmarks — a significant milestone in domestic food processing equipment innovation.

International Trade Centre Established

To better serve our growing international customer base, PFM SCREEN established a dedicated international trade and customer service centre in 2013. Full Equipment Modernisation & ISO 9001 Certification

PFM SCREEN undertook a comprehensive equipment modernisation programme in 2003, replacing virtually all legacy production machinery with advanced manufacturing equipment and introducing complete in-house testing instrumentation. In the same year, the company achieved ISO 9001 quality management system certification — a commitment to process discipline and documented quality controls that continues to govern all production operations today. Export Rights & International Raw Material Sourcing

PFM SCREEN obtained official import and export rights in 1999, opening our products to international markets for the first time. Key raw materials — including high-quality stainless steel wire — were sourced from Japan, establishing the premium material standards that remain in place today. Initial export markets included South Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries.

New Purpose-Built Factory in Anping Industrial Park

Growing demand led PFM SCREEN to relocate to a purpose-built 2,000 m² factory within Anping industrial park in 1992 — a facility specifically designed for wire mesh weaving and metal belt fabrication, in the county that would later become recognised as China's national centre of wire mesh production.

Established as Anping PFM Screen

In 1987, during China's period of reform and opening up, Mr. Yang took over his father's family wire mesh workshop and formally established Anping PFM Screen. Initial production focused on hand-woven wire mesh conveyor belts for semi-automatic food processing lines — the foundation of what would grow into a specialist global metal belt supplier over the following nearly four decades.
